With a focus on maintaining the integrity of complex systems, the Unix Systems Administrator requires at least five years of experience in enterprise networks. Key skills include Web Logic, Solaris, and Sun hardware, alongside a solid grasp of DNS, WINS, and TCP/IP. Additionally, your experience with scripting languages and security best practices will be integral to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer Unix servers proactively in a production environment
• Troubleshoot and maintain complex operating systems
• Implement and manage Windows server operations
• Utilize scripting languages for automation and monitoring
• Ensure compliance with data privacy practices and laws
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in high availability network environments
• Expertise in Web Logic, Solaris, and Sun Hardware
• Deep knowledge of DNS, WINS, and TCP/IP
• Familiarity with ITIL Foundations Certificate
• Experience with SAN storage solutions
