Explore a long-term contract opportunity as an AS400/IBM Infrastructure Analyst with a prominent IT firm in Toronto. This hybrid role requires specialized skills in AS/400 systems support and security compliance.
The position demands high-level expertise in managing IBM i (AS/400) systems, including performance monitoring, incident resolution, and compliance audits. Key Responsibilities:
• Administer IBM i systems in production and test environments
• Perform configuration, upgrades, and system monitoring
• Lead capacity planning and performance improvements
• Manage change processes and incident resolution workflows
• Write and maintain automation scripts for operational efficiency
Requirements:
• Strong background in AS400 and IBM infrastructure
• Governance security clearance is mandatory
• Onsite presence is expected three times weekly in Toronto
• Experience with job queues and subsystems monitoring
