Reporting to the Director, One Stream, the Business Analyst, One Stream will support the delivery, enhancement and ongoing operation of the One Stream platform across our Canadian and U.S. operations. As part of the IT Enterprise Services team, you will partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions that strengthen financial consolidation, close, planning, forecasting and reporting processes.

You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners across the full solution delivery lifecycle, with a focus on data quality, controls, usability and reliable support.

• Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze and document business requirements for One Stream solutions.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process maps, solution designs and acceptance criteria.
• Support One Stream capabilities for financial close and consolidation, planning, forecasting, management reporting and analytics.
• Work with technical teams and implementation partners to configure workflows, reports, dashboards, business rules and other platform enhancements.
• Support data integrations between One Stream and source systems, including data mapping, transformation, reconciliation and validation.
• Develop test plans, test cases and scripts; coordinate system and user acceptance testing; and confirm that solutions meet business and control requirements.
• Investigate production issues, analyze root causes and coordinate timely resolution, particularly during critical close, planning and reporting cycles.
• Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes, reduce manual effort and improve data quality, controls and the end-user experience.
• Create and maintain process documentation, data mappings, support procedures, release notes, user guides and training materials.
• Provide functional support and training to One Stream users while ensuring service levels and quality objectives are met.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of business analysis or financial systems experience, including requirements gathering, process analysis, testing and implementation.
• Strong understanding of finance processes such as financial close, consolidation, planning, forecasting and management reporting.
• Experience translating business requirements into practical system solutions and clear functional documentation.
• Experience with data mapping, data validation, reconciliations and integrations between financial systems.
• Experience developing test plans and test cases and coordinating user acceptance testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues and develop actionable solutions.
