Job Title:
Salesforce Production Support Engineer
Location:
Toronto, ON
Provide production support for a portfolio of Client Technology and Global Investment Banking applications (Salesforce, Dealogic, Capital IQ, etc.), ensuring stability, automation, and efficient release management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide L2/L3 production support for front‑office users across global platforms
- Manage incident, problem, and change (ITIL) processes
- Coordinate releases, bug fixes, and enhancements with internal teams and vendors
- Improve system reliability through monitoring and automation (Dev Ops/CI-CD)
- Perform capacity planning and disaster recovery coordination
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge sharing
- Partner with business, technology, and compliance teams
- Participate in on‑call / weekend release rotation
7 to 12 years of experience in Application/Production Support
Prior experience in Capital Markets / Investment Banking platforms strongly preferred
Key Skills (Focused) Primary Skills (Must Have)- Production Support (L2/L3) in enterprise applications
- Scripting / Automation:
Python (or similar) - Monitoring & Stability mindset (proactive support, root cause analysis)
- Scheduling Tools:
Control‑M / Autosys - Dev Ops / CI‑CD:
Jenkins, Git Hub, Ansible - Exposure to Cloud & Modern Tech: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Salesforce / Capital Markets platforms
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure trading environment
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and automation‑focused mindset
