Solutions Architect

The Technical Solution Architect is responsible for designing, architecting, and overseeing the implementation of technology solutions that align with business and technical requirements. The role provides leadership throughout the solution lifecycle, ensuring that Oracle applications, databases, cloud services, integrations, and infrastructure components are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

• Provide product expertise and translate their needs into integrated solutions.
• Responsible for translating the client’s business needs into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture.
• Act as an advocate for the client, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems.
• Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.
• Design end-to-end technology solutions to meet client and business requirements.
• Develop architecture blueprints, solution designs, and technical specifications.
• Define application, integration, security, and infrastructure architectures.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise standards, governance, and best practices.

• Provide expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Applications, and related Oracle technologies.
• Lead technical discussions, solution reviews, and architecture workshops.
• Assess and recommend Oracle products and services to support business objectives.

• Design integration strategies between Oracle solutions and third-party systems.
• Guide development teams on implementation approaches and best practices.
• Review technical designs, code, and configurations to ensure architectural compliance.

• Collaborate with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams throughout project delivery.
• Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Support system testing, deployment planning, and production readiness activities.

• Ensure solutions meet performance, availability, scalability, and security requirements.
• Conduct architecture assessments and recommend improvements.
• Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and compliance initiatives.

• Act as the primary technical advisor for Oracle-based initiatives.
• Present architectural recommendations to senior management and client stakeholders.
• Provide mentoring and technical guidance to architects, developers, and engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise solution design and technical architecture.
• 15+ with Oracle technologies.
• Extensive experience working with specific Oracle technologies including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Database, middleware, and enterprise applications.
• Strong knowledge of system integration, enterprise architecture, and cloud technologies.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation or modernization initiatives.

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and/or Oracle Cloud certifications.
• Experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Experience working within government, regulated, or large enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of Agile, Dev Ops, and ITIL methodologies.
