Job OverviewOne of our clients seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Performance Test Engineer specialized in Azure Dev Ops and Open Shift Container Platform to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance testing strategies for complex software applications across cloud environments. Your expertise will ensure our systems operate efficiently under load, delivering seamless user experiences.

- Develop comprehensive performance testing plans tailored to cloud-based applications utilizing Azure Dev Ops pipelines and Open Shift Container Platform.
- Design and implement automated test scripts using tools such as Load Runner Cloud, Neo Load, JMeter.
- Analyze system behavior using data analysis skills and identify bottlenecks by monitoring metrics from MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server and other databases.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate performance testing into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, Git Lab, Git Hub and Azure Dev Ops.
- Utilize knowledge of computer networking, REST APIs, and operating systems such as Windows and Linux to troubleshoot issues during testing phases.
- Document test results thoroughly, prepare detailed reports on system performance metrics, and recommend improvements for scalability and reliability.
- Proficiency in automation tools including Load Runner, Neo Cloud, JMeter etc.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript.
- Expertise in database management systems like MySQL, SQL Server (Microsoft SQL Server), Oracle (PL/SQL), JDBC connectivity.
- Knowledge of Dev Ops practices including Git (Git Hub, Git Lab), Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops pipelines.
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Open Shift Container Platform and cloud services like AWS and Azure.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), RESTful API testing, MVC architecture, XML/JSON data formats.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret performance data accurately; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
- Solid understanding of computer networking concepts to troubleshoot connectivity or latency issues effectively.
