• Hands on experience with standard web programming environments such as: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and JavaScript Web frameworks (NodeJS, React, Vue, Angular).
• Experience with Open Source software initiatives such as:
  Linux, Word Press, Word Press Plugins, Drupal, Lucene-based search engines (Solr, Elasticsearch), Git, Apache.
• Experience in interface design, implementation, and testing
• Experience designing, creating websites for multiple languages and audiences
• Experience in accessibility testing and knowledge of accessibility principles and internationally recognized guidelines (WCAG 2.1 Level AA (or above) standards)

• The Ontario Court of Justice has prioritized redesigning the internal website to meet modern accessibility standards, improve information access and organization, and lay the technological foundation that could better support multi-device compatibility (tablets, laptops) in the future, ultimately contributing to a more responsive, user centric, and accessible website experience.

• Website and webpage development technical skills, including graphics design of web components to transform an online public facing website and internal intranet site.
• By working with key stakeholders, technical staff and as part of the project team, implement a new user centric Word Press public Internal intranet site to serve the judiciary and staff of the Ontario Court of Justice.
• Develops, updates, analyzes, and edits content and functionality for websites; develops content strategies
• Review and ensure websites are standards compliant for the Government of Ontario.
• Document best practices for ongoing maintenance of the Ontario Court of Justice intranet
• Translates UX/UI designer delivered specifications/ parameters/ wireframes into functional website components.

• Experience with content creation and driving content strategy
• Awareness of emerging trends and directions in web and their application within the Government framework
• Familiarity with LAMP software stack and common variations
• Experience in migrating sites among various technology platforms
• Experience in Windows Server platforms, Internet Information Services (IIS) and related web hosting software(s), and configurations
• Experience in Azure Web Services including Word Press as a Service, database as a service.
• Knowledge and use of interactive design principles and using industry tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Zeplin and Omni Graffle
• Experience in leveraging AI tools such as Git Hub Copilot to accelerate coding deliverables.
• Experience in developing metadata templates for sites
• Knowledge and experience with current web technologies and open source and cloud architectures
• Assess performance and capacity of existing systems and make architectural recommendations for improving performance
• Knowledge of the Government of Ontario web standards (Ontario Design System), governance, and legislative framework
• Experience in converting variable source document formats into accessible content

• Research data, plans & designs including architecture sitemaps, protypes, wireframes, usability, templates, graphics, style guides, website build book(s)/specifications, maintenance/process documentation
• Project specific presentations, reports, status decks

• Develop website components, and custom web templates per UX/UI design specifications
• Create website graphics and navigational components
• Research and integrate web plugins to meet design specifications
• Implement websites on a Word Press content management system in both production and staging environments
• Create custom code in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS to meet design requirements
• Ensure accessibility and usability requirements are met for all web content
• Create web content that is accessible from multiple device/screen types such as: PC, Macintosh, mobile phones, tablets
• Migrate existing web content to the newly developed platforms
• Create custom website maintenance documentation for internal IT teams
• Create custom web style guides for consistent content update processes
• Train IT staff and/or business users as required for ongoing website maintenance tasks
