Technology Solutions Pay Details: $115,600 - $163,200 CAD This role is temporarily eligible for a pay premium above the posted salary range that is reassessed annually. Role Overview The AI Solution Architect, Generative and Agentic AI is responsible for defining and guiding the end-to-end architecture of enterprise AI solutions intended for internal use. This role combines hands-on solution architecture, platform thinking, and technical leadership. You will define patterns across LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), multi-agent systems, and orchestration frameworks while ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, cost-aware, and production-ready.

Operating at the Product Group level, this role establishes the technical vision, architecture principles and reusable patterns that enable multiple AI product teams to deliver coherent, secure, scalable and production-ready AI capabilities. The architect ensures solutions work together effectively, integrate with enterprise platforms and other Product Groups, and align with TD architecture, cybersecurity, data, risk and compliance standards.

Define and maintain the Product Group’s technical vision, architecture roadmap, principles and constraints Design end-to-end architectures for complex, distributed generative AI solutions from concept through production and ongoing enhancement Key lead in design and/or development of a technology domain architecture strategy, policies, ‘guiding principles’ and standards to govern how technology solutions will be developed and implemented Research/analyze business requirements to evaluate and recommend optimal solutions within technology architecture Ensure architectural coherence across product teams and establish clear solution boundaries, integration contracts and technical responsibilities.

Lead detailed solution architecture and design ensuring it meets requirements / complies with the architectural and security standards, patterns and frameworks and provide sign-off on the detailed design Partner with product leadership to translate business outcomes and product strategy into an actionable technical roadmap and advise on technical opportunities, dependencies, risks and investment trade-offs Conduct pre and post implementation reviews, ensuring all technical solutions have met business requirements Establish functional and non-functional requirements covering security, privacy, reliability, scalability, performance, interoperability, maintainability, auditability and cost Evaluate architecture options based on value, risk, complexity, total cost of ownership and enterprise alignment Steer the process of development, documentation, communication and execution of a comprehensive strategy, policies and solutions Resolve cross-team architecture issues and lead integration with enterprise platforms, shared services and other Product Groups

Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for area Ensure products are compliant with technology domain architecture and design/operate processes to provide ongoing review of in progress activity against technology architecture and development standards Protect/enhance the security, availability of technology, brand integrity and shareholder value by establishing parameters for continued investment in technology solutions, and providing technical risk analysis / assessment Identify enhancements and gaps in architectural frameworks, standards and patterns to raise issues for inclusion in future versions Ensure respective programs/…
