Eckler Systems Administrator

Elevate your career at Eckler as a Systems Administrator in Toronto. This role requires expertise in systems administration, cloud operations, and network management to ensure a robust hybrid technology environment.

Reporting to the Senior Infrastructure Engineer, the Systems Administrator will support Eckler’s on-premises and cloud infrastructure while collaborating with the Technology & Security team and other stakeholders. Essential skills include hands-on administration, strong technical judgement, and experience in security, automation, and project delivery. You will be responsible for maintaining system integrity and investigating emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Windows Server, Linux, and Active Directory

• Configure, patch, and retire servers as needed

• Monitor infrastructure health and resolve issues promptly

• Support VMware vSphere and VxRail environments

• Maintain operational documentation and configuration records

Requirements:

• Minimum three years in systems or network administration

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and virtual environments

• Experience with firewall and VPN administration

• Clear communication skills for documentation

• Willingness to perform after-hours maintenance
