We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing digital experiences. The role focuses on user-centred design, research, prototyping, testing, and continuousiteration across web and mobile applications.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, QA specialists, and other cross-functional team members to translate user needs into intuitive interfaces and digital experiences. The position requires strong hands-on UX/UI capabilities,experience leading UX activities and workshops, and the ability to manageend-to-end user research.

This is an onsite position requiring 5 days onsite.

• Createeffective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces.
• Designoverall product functionality to deliver a strong user experience and continuously iterate designs based on user testing.
• Designuser interfaces for digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials as required.
• Applya user-centred design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs.
• Conceiveand conduct user research, interviews, and surveys.
• Translate research findings into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps,wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

• Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
• Experience as a UX Designer, Interactive Designer, UI Designer, or similar role designing web and mobile applications.
• Abilityto define and lead UX projects, design workshops, and alignment sessions with stakeholders and business users.
• Experience managing end-to-end user research, from recruiting through synthesis.
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
• Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate use of web developmenttechnologies.
• Experience designing online programs with an emphasis on the emotional aspects ofhuman experience.
• Experienceconceiving and conducting user research, interviews, and surveys and translating findings into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps,wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Experience designing overall product functionality and iterating based on usertesting.
• Experience designing and delivering wireframes, user stories, user flows, userjourneys, mockups, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Experienceresearching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testingexperiences for digital products across a wide range of devices and interfaces.
• Experience identifying design problems and devising elegant solutions.
• Experiencemaking strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core andnew functions and features.
• Experience gathering user feedback to configure existing interfaces.
• Team-oriented approach with a track record of meeting deadlines, managing competing priorities, and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Experience with Figma, Canva, and similar tools.

• Demonstratedability to prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation,including reports, reviews, and assessments.
• Skilledat communicating design concepts and development processes clearly todiverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated effectiveness working with cross-functional teams, including developers,QA specialists, and business stakeholders, to achieve shared project goals.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with team members at different organizational levels.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing.
• Abilityto work with the Ontario Design System.
• Knowledge of digital service standards.
• Experienceaddressing complex design challenges, particularly involving legacy systems and nuanced stakeholder/approval relationships.
• Abilityto design with accessibility in mind and meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
