Required Skills & Qualifications

15 years in IT/Data, including 5 years in enterprise data architecture, cloud analytics, and distributed data systems.
Proficiency in Azure data services, ADLS Gen2, cloud storage, networking, and security/IAM.
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
Expertise in Snowflake data warehousing, including multi-cluster warehouses, data sharing, Snowpipe, and performance tuning.
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and dbt, including Snowflake/dbt integration.
Experience with CI/CD practices using Git, Azure Dev Ops, and Git Hub Actions for data pipeline deployment and management.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Additional certifications related to cloud platforms and data engineering.
Experience with other cloud platforms and data solutions.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures on Azure.
Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
Design and manage Snowflake data warehouse solutions, including ingestion, data sharing, and performance optimization.
Implement secure cloud data platforms using Azure storage, networking, and IAM controls.
Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python, SQL, and dbt.
Establish CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows and deployments.
