Advisor IT Data Network Operations & Support

We are looking for an Advisor IT Data Network Operations & Support to help design, build, deploy, test, and support our enterprise network infrastructure. In this role, you will apply your technical expertise across Cisco LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi environments while supporting network operations, automation, projects, and the Pre‑Production Network Lab. You will also contribute to technology validation, proof‑of‑concept testing, and the continuous improvement of our network infrastructure.

• Provide operational support for enterprise network services, including incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex network issues.
• Design, configure, deploy, test, and optimize large-scale Cisco LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, and SD‑WAN infrastructure, while supporting the integration of new technologies into existing network environments.
• Support the Pre‑Production Network Lab, including software, hardware, configuration, and design validation, as well as proof‑of‑concept and pre‑deployment testing.
• Develop automation solutions for routine network activities and support the use of automation and Infrastructure as Code tools to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance through SME groups, coordinate small team efforts, and participate in incident reviews, CAB and TAB meetings.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including network designs, configuration standards, test plans, operational procedures, and implementation guides.
• Identify and document network risks, support remediation activities, and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure service quality and SLA compliance.

• University degree or two-year technical diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience designing, building, deploying, testing, and supporting large-scale Cisco LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi infrastructure.
• 5 or more years of related experience and relevant Cisco certifications, such as CCNA or higher, are preferred.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of enterprise networking technologies and protocols, including Cisco routers, switches and wireless, Versa SD‑WAN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VxLAN, VPC, VSS, and data centre networking technologies.
• Experience with network QA, pre‑deployment validation, structured testing, proof‑of‑concept initiatives, and network security practices, including technologies such as Cisco ISE, RADIUS, and TACACS.
• Experience with network automation, scripting, and configuration management using technologies such as Python, Bash, Power Shell, Ansible, Terraform, Azure Bicep/ARM, Git Ops, Cisco Catalyst Center, and Versa Director.
• Familiar with cloud-native and Dev Ops technologies, including Azure, OCI, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Agile, Dev Ops, and Dev Sec Ops , along with monitoring tools such as Solar Winds, Net Box and Splunk.
• Demonstrated strong systems thinking, problem‑solving, troubleshooting, project coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Service Now and ITIL processes is an asset.
