Join Quickplay in Toronto as an Operations Engineer focused on video streaming services. You will monitor performance and support daily operations to ensure reliable customer streaming experiences.
In this contract role, you will be a key player within the Service Operations team, requiring 1-2 years of technical operations experience. This position is pivotal for maintaining the availability of video streaming platforms utilized by clients such as Warner Bros. Discovery. You’ll actively monitor alerts, assist in troubleshooting incidents, and work closely with engineering to escalate issues as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor OTT video streaming platforms and applications
• Respond to service alerts and operational incidents
• Perform initial troubleshooting and incident triage
• Conduct routine health checks of streaming services
• Communicate incidents clearly to teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
• 1–2 years in technical operations or NOC
• Understanding of incident management processes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work rotational shifts including weekends
Handle technical challenges and ensure top-notch service reliability for Quickplay's streaming platforms in Toronto.
