We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Architect With (Strong Databricks) to join our growing data and cloud team in Mississauga, ON (Remote/Hybrid). The ideal candidate will design enterprise-scale data architectures, build robust data pipelines, and implement scalable cloud-native data platforms on AWS/Azure.
This role requires a blend of strategic architecture expertise and hands-on engineering capabilities to transform complex data into actionable business insights while ensuring security, scalability, governance, and cost optimization.

We are looking for a Senior Data Architect With (Strong Databricks) to design and lead scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud data platforms across AWS and/or Azure.
Key Responsibilities
Design enterprise-scale cloud data architecture, data lakes, warehouses & lake houses
Develop HLDs (High-Level Designs) and architecture blueprints for data platforms
Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver & Gold layers)
Define data models, integration patterns, governance and security frameworks
Lead ETL/ELT, batch & real-time data architecture
Drive cloud data modernization, performance and cost optimization
Provide technical leadership and mentor Data Engineering teams
Must-Have Skills
8–10 years of experience in Data Architecture / Data Engineering
Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure
Expertise in Medallion Architecture, Data Lakes/Lake houses & Data Warehousing
Strong experience creating HLDs, architecture diagrams and technical design documents
Strong SQL and experience with Python or equivalent programming languages
Experience with Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow/dbt or equivalent technologies
Experience working with structured and unstructured data
Knowledge of Data Governance, Security, CI/CD & Dev Ops
Excellent architecture, communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
AWS/Azure certifications
Databricks Certification
Snowflake experience
Data Mesh concepts
MLOps / AI data platform experience
