Senior Business Systems Analyst

Position: Senior Payments Business Systems Analyst
Lead payments requirements analysis at CIBC in Toronto, applying SWIFT payments and ISO 20022 expertise to modernization initiatives. Work arrangements are discussed during interviews.
As a Senior Consultant, Business Systems Analysis, you will partner with Payments Business, Operations, and technology stakeholders. You will analyze processes, document requirements, and support solution design for payment application upgrades, regulatory releases, and Payments Canada initiatives. Your work will address delivery, testing, risk, and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead complex requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders
Develop functional, non-functional, use case, and data mapping documents
Validate solution designs against scope and requirements
Support SWIFT, ISO 20022, and Payments Canada changes
Identify risks, control gaps, and compliance impacts
Requirements:
Ten or more years in progressively senior business systems analysis roles
Experience leading projects and eliciting requirements
Strong documentation, data analysis, and gap analysis abilities
Proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of SWIFT, wire payments, RTGS, or ISO 20022
Apply business systems analysis, payment domain knowledge, and stakeholder management to support CIBC’s Toronto modernization delivery.
