Senior Business Analyst - AI & Advanced Analytics

Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite), Toronto, ON

Duration: ASAP – November 2027 (with potential extension and conversion)

Hours: Monday to Friday, Core Business Hours

Pay Rate: Up to $65/hr T4 + 4% Vacation Pay

Interview Process: 1 virtual interview (60 minutes) covering technical and soft skills

Join a high-performing AI & Advanced Analytics team responsible for building enterprise data and AI solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging business and technical teams, creating high-quality documentation, supporting AI initiatives, and helping drive project delivery in a highly regulated environment.

You’ll contribute to AI and machine learning initiatives, support an emerging knowledge graph project, manage documentation repositories, and ensure projects stay organized, compliant, and on track.

• Document AI and machine learning development activities, experiments, insights, and project artifacts
• Maintain project documentation, requirements, process flows, decisions, and reference materials
• Support AI knowledge graph initiatives through analysis, coordination, and documentation
• Facilitate meetings, capture action items, track decisions, and follow up on deliverables
• Coordinate access management requests, approvals, and tracking
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, timelines, and delivery status
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across AI and analytics initiatives

• 5+ years of Risk Management experience within Financial Services or Healthcare environments
• 5+ years of Business Analyst and/or Data Analyst experience with a Bachelor's Degree OR
• 3+ years of Business/Data Analysis experience with a Master's Degree
• Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies and Agile practices
• Experience creating technical documentation and project artifacts
• Ability to read and understand Python and SQL code
• Hands-on experience with:

  • Confluence
  • Clarity
  • Share Point
• Experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with changing priorities

• Experience supporting AI or Machine Learning projects
• AI, Cloud, or Data Science certifications
• Experience with in Canadian banking or other highly regulated industries

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Master's Degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related field preferred

• Exposure to enterprise AI and machine learning initiatives
