Senior Broadcast Systems Specialist

As a Senior Broadcast Technologist, you will support studio, content creation, and presentation groups with technical issues. You will help implement technologies including virtualization, video-over-IP, and centralized workflows. Your work will connect clients, systems, studios, and control rooms.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain technologies
Support studio, content creation, and presentation groups
Translate technical issues for clients and internal partners
Implement virtualization, video-over-IP, and automated workflows
Document technical specifications and recommend technical solutions
Requirements:
Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or Broadcast
Knowledge of computers, networking, IP infrastructure, and equipment maintenance
Familiarity with Windows Server Systems, MacOS, and Linux
Ability to work on-site rotating day, evening, and overnight shifts
Advanced English reading, speaking, and writing skills
Apply broadcast technology, systems troubleshooting, networking, and problem-solving skills supporting CBC/Radio-Canada’s Toronto operations.
