Analytics Engineering Data Lead

Build trusted analytics with SQL and Python as CSC Generation’s Data Lead, working hybrid in Canada with Toronto preferred. Connect portfolio data to decisions.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Business Intelligence, you will model data, define metrics, and create semantic layers. You will reconcile sources across ERP, web analytics, and operational systems while translating ambiguous questions into validated answers. Your work supports reusable BI models and AI-assisted analytics workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain analytical data models across 13 brands
Design reusable semantic layers in BI tools
Reconcile metrics, customers, products, and multiple business systems
Validate results across ERP and web analytics sources
Define KPIs and translate questions into recommendations
Requirements:
Strong SQL and Python skills, including reviewing AI-generated code

Experience with cloud warehouses and data modeling
Understanding of ETL/ELT, warehousing, and orchestration tools
Proficiency with Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
Experience integrating data across systems or business units
Bring rigorous validation, business acumen, and analytical modeling expertise to CSC Generation’s cross-brand data foundation.
