Commercial Lines Account Manager - Mid Market

Paisley Partners Inc, a Navacord Company, is accepting applications for experience Commercial Insurance Brokers who are knowledgeable expert advisors in commercial lines insurance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a book of business in our commercial division, servicing clients in a courteous and professional manner, and assisting the producer in obtaining, maintaining and expanding business.

• Responsible for managing a book of business, which focuses on maintaining relationship with a number of associations
• Manage account documentation (i.e. routine inquiries, quotes, binders, statement of values, insurance contracts, endorsements, cancellations, etc.)
• Review and assess application, bind coverages, calculate premiums, issue certificates of insurance, document policies, and report claims
• Ensure that premium with applicable taxes and fees are collected prior to binding, either through the credit card site, cheque, email transfer, CAFO, etc.
• Upload policy documents within portals
• Ensure that a high level of service is maintained when answering a large number of client calls during renewals periods
• Set clear expectations for client and business partners by providing same day response time.
• Review client’s current coverage and exposures, loss experience and analyze risk to determine the product/service requirements
• Works closely with Producers and other staff on all aspects of client service, marketing, renewal while adhering to best practices and standard procedures

• 8-10 years of commercial insurance experience required
• University degree preferred
• Working towards C.I.P. or C.A.I.B. designation
• Superb interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to be a self starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills
• Skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and EPIC
