Our Desjardins Insurance Agency located in Markham, Ontario is currently expanding and seeking multiple highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Insurance Account Representative.
Responsibility:
Selling auto and property insurance products to individual/business clients to meet Agency targetsComplete personalized needs assessments for clientProvide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs and ensure clients are charged premiums that correspond with risksFocusing on meeting the needs of the personal market through the full suite of Desjardins Insurance auto and property insurance productsCalculate premiums and establish payment methodDeliver and explain policy to policyholders and to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes, or to change beneficiariesEnsure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary vehicle inspection and the completion of appropriate formsMaintain positive relationship with both existing and new clientsRequirements:
Self-motivatedCompassionateAccountableOTL license (must pass the exam before starting the position)Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listeningBasic Microsoft office skillsMust be fluent in both English and ChineseCompensation:
Base salary: $50,000Plus CommissionPlus Year end bonusLife and living benefit up to $200/month after probationPaid vacationHealth PlanThese positions are with an independent contractor agent that is part of the Desjardins exclusive agent network, not with Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. This agents’ employees are not employees of Desjardins. Independent contractor agents are responsible for and make all employment decisions regarding their employees.
