This role is based out of our beautiful, New York City office, located in the Financial District.

Your Impact as an Account Manager II

The Account Manager handles key Aon processes that serve clients. You are responsible for helping manage client relationships, for the internal processes and communication that contribute to the value delivered to clients. Account Specialists are required to have the ability to maintain relationships between the Client, the Account Executive and the Brokers.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs account servicing functions including miscellaneous office duties in support of account servicing.
  • When not performed within a broking unit, collects and analyzes data on exposures, loss history and standard and unique coverage needs for submissions with the Brokerage Unit.
  • Handles client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests.
  • Captures and analyzes data and drafts assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
  • Actively supports and supervises the renewal process. At the direction of the Broker, drafts quote comparisons and follows up for binders, policies and endorsements.
  • Attends renewal meetings with Account Executives.
  • Where applicable, serves as the primary collaborator with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed effectively.
  • Receives and handles routine and complex coverage inquiries and endorsement requests. Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, WC posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise:

Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience within the insurance industry, preferably with construction clients
  • Property & Casualty broker’s license strongly preferred, or to be obtained within 120 days of start date
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Knowledge of construction insurance
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, PowerPoint,
    Excel and Outlook is required, evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools
Education:
  • Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent years of experience.
Pay Transparency Laws

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $75,000 - $100,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
