Key Accountabilities Manage an established portfolio of both retail and high-net-worth clients, ensuring consistent service excellence and timely resolution of inquiries, issues, and escalations
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and coverage reviews; recommend tailored insurance solutions aligned with client needs and risk profiles
Lead annual renewal reviews, including preparing submissions, negotiating terms with insurers, and presenting coverage recommendations to clients
Identify and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within existing accounts to support portfolio growth and retention
Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date client records; ensure timely processing of endorsements, renewals, and related documentation
Support clients throughout the claims process, providing guidance on claims management and loss mitigation strategies
Contribute to new business development and the achievement of overall portfolio and departmental objectives
Stay informed on market trends, insurer appetite, regulatory requirements, and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities
Experience Requirements 5-10 years of experience in Personal Lines Insurance, with a focus on high-net-worth clients
Active RIBO license required; CIP, CRM, or related designations considered assets
Strong knowledge of high-net-worth insurers (e.g., Chubb, Intact Prestige, Aviva Ovation, Northbridge Onyx).
Proficiency with insurance management systems (e.g., EPIC) and insurer portals (e.g., Intact, Aviva,
Economical)
Proficient knowledge of Compu-Quote and Microsoft Office tools
Experience with cross-border placements and third-party broker relationships considered an asset
Strong relationship management, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Solid understanding of insurance products, policy structures, and the regulatory environment
Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills
