Role Designation Remote
Our National Catastrophe team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Team Lead Catastrophe Claims. Reporting to the Senior Manager National Catastrophe Claims, the Catastrophe Claims Team Lead provides support to the catastrophe team in achieving loss/expense cost containment, customer experience objectives, efficiency and effectiveness, and employee engagement.

Accountabilities Provide continuous support to the Manager Catastrophe Claims with duties assigned as needed
Provide technical guidance to staff on claim investigation, reserving evaluation and resolution of claims
Assist with claims file reviews, shadowing and observing advisors to ensure the delivery of individual results, including metrics for quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity and customer satisfaction
Provide support to manage external and/or contract staff in service of our customers
Provide an environment to foster best in class customer service
Determine and delegate claims settlement authority to claims representatives
Ensure compliance with Allstate policies and regulatory, legal and ethical requirements
Collaborate with the Claim Manager to drive and deliver on departmental objectives
Provide ongoing direction to the team to achieve objectives
Ability to adjust and manage pending catastrophic claims
Qualifications and Experience CIP/FCIP designation preferred
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience adjusting residential property claims or working in a relevant property claims role
Understanding of legal principles across national jurisdictions is an asset
Holding Provincial Adjusting Licenses is an asset
Prior Auto Claims experience is an asset
Experience in training and coaching is an asset
Experience working with property estimating within Xactimate is preferred
Skills Business Communications, Catastrophe Response, Catastrophic Claims, Complex Claims, Customer Service, Document Examination, Prioritization, Property Claims
Compensation Expected compensation for this role ranges from $67,200. annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
