About the Role
As an Independent Adjuster Auditor for Bill Review
IQ, you’ll have the opportunity to take on new challenges and help solve complex problems for the world's best brands. You will review Independent Adjuster and other Non‑Legal Vendor invoices on behalf of our clients for services provided to insurance carriers, corporate legal departments and government entities, applying client‑specified billing guidelines, rate schedules and/or Generally Accepted Principles and Standards ("GAPS").
Key Responsibilities
Understand and apply clients' billing guidelines and standards.
Work with clients to develop or enhance billing protocols.
Effectively communicate with vendors to discuss compliance with client billing requirements.
Manage invoice workflow efficiently.
Work independently to finalize and approve vendor invoices for payment.
Consistently meet company‑established performance standards for production.
Collaborate with team members to collectively meet production objectives/goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Support the organization's quality program(s).
Qualifications
Education & Licensing
High school diploma required.
Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and applicable Provincial Insurance License(s) (Ontario only).
Experience
On‑site claims adjusting experience and/or experience as a Claims Professional for an Insurance/Reinsurance Carrier, Broker, or TPA.
Background in property, liability, and/or CAT claims preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
Analytical and interpretive skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Location and
Employment Type
Ontario only. Full‑time, salaried position.
We are currently hiring for this position.
Compensation
Salary Range: $78,000 – $85,000 annually. Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Sedgwick is committed to transparent and equitable pay practices.
