Compensation:

The salary range for this role is CAD 102, per year.

About the role:

• Perform underwriting and risk assessment for multiple lines of business
• Maintain a high level of communication, contact and support with management
• Accountable for thorough communication and/or explanation of all underwriting decisions
• Ensure Partner Re's competitiveness with peers in industry, while ensuring compliance with established protocols and control standards
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement and development of underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures
• Ensure departmental compliance with established quality and service level agreements
• Participation on internal and external audits as required

• Fluent in French and English
• Post‑secondary education, preferably in math, science or business
• Holds an industry designation or is working towards its completion (for example FALU)
• 5+ years practical experience working in progressive underwriting roles
