This Operations Assistant position requires collaboration with both Underwriting and Claims teams. You will perform key tasks, including policy issuance and cancellations, while supporting Claims processes. Keeping abreast of new workflows and making proactive suggestions will be vital to excel in this role, which is essential for maintaining consistency across Markel Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete policy issuance and Broker of Record changes accurately
• Provide administrative support for Claims processes as needed
• Perform various underwriting and operational administration tasks
• Suggest improvements and stay current on underwriting bulletins
• Maintain communication regarding workload with the Manager
Requirements:
• Interest in commercial insurance administration
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage shifting deadlines effectively
• Self-motivated and capable of independent work
