ARAG Legal Solutions Inc. is seeking a Claims Examiner passionate about legal expense insurance. This role is hybrid, combining remote capabilities with onsite collaboration in our Toronto office.
As a Claims Examiner, you will report to the Claims Manager and be actively involved in the evaluation and resolution of claims. With a background in claims adjusting and legal billing assessment, you will provide effective solutions and training to internal and external clients. Your analytical skills will be vital in determining coverage and managing claim files.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and determine coverage of new claims
• Participate in resolving claims and coverage issues
• Train on risk management and legal products
• Maintain effective relationships with legal professionals
• Assist in policy administration and claims systems
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in claims adjusting
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Deep understanding of legal fees and assessments
• Exceptional communication skills
• Experience in litigation & tort law is preferred
