Bilingual Claims Management in Specialty Insurance

Drive success as a Bilingual Claims Manager in Specialty Insurance, utilizing your expertise in both French and English. Focus on claims evaluation and communication in a collaborative setting.

This position, reporting to the VP of Claims Specialty Insurance, requires an analytical mindset and strong communication skills. You will handle coverage evaluations, reserve setting, and stakeholder negotiations, ensuring effective bilingual support. Available locations include Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, or Halifax.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate complex claim coverage

• Prepare and draft bilingual documentation

• Set and manage claim reserves strategically

• Liaise with insureds and broker representatives

• Negotiate settlements and authorize payments

Requirements:

• LL.B. or LL.L. is preferred

• 5-7+ years in insurance law or claims handling

• Bilingual fluency in French and English

• Property & Casualty law knowledge is a plus

• Member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec (if applicable)
