Lead Auditor, Property & Casualty Actuarial

In this role, you will lead end-to-end audits within the (re) insurance value chain, reviewing key areas like reserving and pricing. Engaging directly with senior stakeholders, you'll deliver strategic insights that improve risk assessment and governance. You will also support and coach fellow team members while promoting a forward-thinking risk culture at Swiss Re.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct audits focusing on P&C (re) insurance value chains

• Review effectiveness of risk management practices

• Pinpoint key risks and enhance transparency with stakeholders

• Mentor team members in risk assessment practices

• Work towards fostering a culture of proactive risk management

Requirements:

• Nearly qualified or qualified P&C actuary

• Minimum of 7 years in insurance or reinsurance

• Expertise in reserving and pricing methodologies

• Comprehensive understanding of IFRS 17, US GAAP

• Insight into current trends and risks in the P&C sector
