Position: Senior Auto Underwriter at AXA XL
Elevate your career with AXA XL as a Senior Underwriter specializing in Canadian commercial Auto business. You will interact with Clients and Brokers while securing new opportunities and managing renewals.

As a vital member of the Toronto Underwriting Team, you will underwrite a profitable Auto portfolio, including Transportation risks, in alignment with AXA XL’s standards. Your responsibilities will include assessing risks, determining terms and pricing, and driving sustainable growth within the portfolio by nurturing broker relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite new and renewal Canadian commercial Auto business

• Assess Auto risks including fleet composition and loss experience

• Determine pricing, coverage, and terms for Auto accounts

• Drive growth by identifying profitable new business opportunities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in commercial Auto underwriting

• University degree required

• Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines and methodologies

• Robust communication skills essential

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
