Position: Senior Casualty Underwriter at AXA XL

As a Senior Casualty Underwriter, you will report to the Head of Canadian Reinsurance. This role involves underwriting terms and pricing for both new and renewal accounts, analyzing endorsements, and ensuring compliance with insurance guidelines. Engage in business development activities alongside underwriters and key brokers, focusing on building our market presence and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite new and renewal casualty insurance business

• Establish pricing through comprehensive account analysis

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• Participate in strategic marketing and business development

• Analyze endorsement requests and service a book of business

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

• Moderate experience in primary insurance or reinsurance

• Strong knowledge of casualty liability coverage

• Proficiency in policy rating systems

• Excellent communication and analytical skills
