Position: Manager of Underwriting for Commercial Auto Insurance
Lead innovative underwriting strategies at TD Insurance in the heart of Toronto. As a Manager for Commercial Auto, influence business goals while ensuring regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of underwriting strategies designed to achieve the organization's premium and earnings objectives. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product and Underwriting Strategy, you will leverage your deep understanding of commercial auto insurance and industry trends to create new opportunities. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to service over three million clients across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Propose necessary changes to insurance contracts nationally

• Collaborate with stakeholders on underwriting initiatives

• Support training material development for contract understanding

• Manage small business insurance strategy and rules

• Monitor emerging trends affecting the auto insurance market

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years' experience in Commercial Auto underwriting

• Proven experience with regulatory underwriting filings

• Holding or pursuing CIP, FCIP, CRM insurance designations

• Strong problem-solving and relationship building abilities

• Proficiency in critical thinking and analytical skills
