AXIS Capital is actively seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join its Canada Claims Team. This pivotal role involves the direct management of intricate claims within professional lines policies. You will leverage your comprehensive understanding of claims, liability, and litigation to navigate and resolve complex coverage disputes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle claims across D&O, FI, E&O, and Cyber domains

• Communicate clear coverage positions to stakeholders

• Assess and set reserves according to exposure

• Engage in mediations and settlement discussions

• Ensure stringent documentation is maintained on claims

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of experience in claims or litigation roles

• In-depth knowledge of professional lines coverage

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Relevant education or equivalent experience is required

• French language skills advantageous
