As a Senior Underwriting Officer focused on Construction, you will define strategy and governance for property and casualty lines.

Your role encompasses underwriting oversight, guidelines creation, and portfolio performance management. You'll closely partner with the Head of Construction while contributing to North American strategies and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Construction underwriting strategy and risk selection criteria

• Provide technical guidance on complex multi-line accounts

• Monitor performance indicators and adjust strategies as needed

• Enhance underwriting tools and frameworks for decision-making

• Collaborate with Actuarial and Claims to optimize performance

Requirements:

• 15+ years of commercial underwriting experience

• Expertise in Construction P&C coverages and exposures

• Proven ability to influence underwriting strategies

• Strong communication and decision-making skills

• Experience mentoring underwriters and building teams
