About The Role
HUB International continues to grow and we are looking for a strong Commercial Account Associate to effectively support the team. This is an ideal role for an individual who is responsive, can handle a high volume of work, and has strong customer service. This is an ideal role for someone who is interested in learning and supporting a growing market.
What You’ll Do- Process and review new and renewal business documentation, including requesting renewal information from clients as required
- Provide information for invoice issuance, review policy documents for accuracy, and manage all components of small lease and other accounts
- Respond to client inquiries and requests, and follow up on loss control recommendations
- Prepare market submissions, collate quotes, and prep raters for renewal and new business for leasing accounts
- Request, review and manage loss runs, and process endorsements
- Perform administrative calculations and review Assistants' work as necessary
- Manage file management, monitor receivables, and review SOV when received from the client
- Complete Rate Tracker reporting and any other tasks/responsibilities as assigned
- Active RIBO license (Ontario Broker's license) required, with a minimum of 2-3 years of commercial lines insurance experience in broking or underwriting
- Experience with dealership and/or leasing accounts, including familiarity with fleet, garage, and leasing-specific insurance programs
- Solid understanding of commercial lines products, coverages, policy wordings, and ability to review and interpret SOVs and loss runs
- Proven ability to manage a book of business including new business, renewals, endorsements, submissions, and invoicing
- Strong client service orientation with experience responding to inquiries, building client relationships, and delivering client-focused solutions
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with sub-brokers across Canada and writing business in specialized industries and programs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel)
- Ability to learn and understand new systems quickly; EPIC fluency is an asset

The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, i.e., base salary plus commission. As such, the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidate’s book of business at a particular time.
