Intact is seeking motivated recent or soon-to-be graduates for its 2-year Commercial Lines Underwriter Academy. Through mentorship and rotations, candidates will gain hands-on experience in assessing risk and managing insurance portfolios. You will learn the ropes of commercial insurance, interact with brokers, and develop essential underwriting skills critical for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete rotations across different underwriting teams

• Learn to assess and evaluate commercial risks

• Develop skills in quoting and negotiating policy terms

• Build relationships with broker partners for effective collaboration

• Pursue Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation

Requirements:

• Recent graduate with strong GPA relevant to Business or Insurance

• Willingness to join the program in June 2027

• Interest in underwriting and risk assessment

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Bilingualism required for candidates in Quebec
