AIG is seeking a seasoned underwriting specialist with over 10 years of experience in Commercial Auto and Transportation risks. You will analyze and underwrite various auto policies, ensuring compliance with industry guidelines. This position offers the opportunity to foster relationships with brokers while contributing significantly to profitable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Underwrite Canadian Auto policies, including Owned Auto and CGL
• Analyze risks to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines
• Manage relationships with brokers for effective communication
• Participate in special underwriting projects as required
• Provide training and mentorship to junior underwriters
Requirements:
• 10+ years in casualty and auto underwriting
• Deep knowledge of the transportation industry
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent organization and decision-making abilities
