As the Senior Casualty Underwriter, reporting directly to the Head of Canadian Reinsurance, you'll be essential in underwriting new and renewal business. This role includes analyzing accounts and ensuring profitability through rigorous compliance with underwriting guidelines. You will also be involved in significant marketing initiatives to boost brand visibility and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite new and renewal insurance terms

• Review account information for pricing decisions

• Communicate with various internal departments for profitability

• Engage with brokers during strategic visits and meetings

• Maintain high standards of customer service and account management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline

• Experience in insurance or reinsurance sectors

• Knowledge of standard casualty insurance

• Proficiency in policy rating and analysis

• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
