In this position, you will evaluate, select, and price casualty policies, including commercial auto and umbrella/excess lines. With 2-5 years of experience in liability underwriting, you will develop quotes and ensure compliance with company standards. By working closely with broking teams and clients, you will support business growth and deliver expert underwriting solutions in the Canadian market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and underwrite casualty business per guidelines
• Negotiate terms and proposals with clients and brokers

• Analyze reports and history to determine risk exposures
• Collaborate with teams on audits and portfolio performance
Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in business or related discipline
• 2-5 years of relevant casualty underwriting experience
• Strong understanding of casualty insurance practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools
