Commercial Senior Underwriter Position

This role involves analyzing and underwriting new and existing business within the Zurich underwriting framework. Reporting to the VP of Programs, you’ll manage programs, build strong relationships with brokers and stakeholders, and lead assessments of new business opportunities. Your contributions will support Zurich's commitment to a caring and diverse workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of Programs and MGA relationships

• Evaluate new Program opportunities for underwriting

• Develop and present business cases for strategic initiatives

• Negotiate commercial agreements successfully

• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance metrics

Requirements:

• High School Diploma with 5 years in underwriting or market-facing roles

• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point

• Experience with multi-line underwriting

• Familiarity with reinsurance strategies and governance
