As part of the Corporate Actuarial Advanced Analytics team at CGIC, you will spearhead analyses that influence the organization’s reserving strategies. Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance operational processes while applying your knowledge in predictive analytics. This role emphasizes both analytical proficiency and the ability to drive change in P&C reserving practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct actuarial investigations into claims experience

• Innovate reserving methodologies and evaluation processes

• Collaborate with data scientists for predictive solutions

• Apply understanding of actuarial outputs to real-world scenarios

• Enhance reporting and regulatory compliance

Requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or equivalent

• Five years of relevant actuarial experience

• Expertise in programming languages like SQL or Python

• Experience with Claim Center and predictive models an asset

• Actuarial designations like ACAS or FCAS are beneficial
