Senior Underwriting Assistant, Financial Lines | Montreal, QC & Toronto, ON

One of our exclusive clients, a global leader in commercial insurance, is seeking a Senior Underwriting Assistant to join their Financial Lines team based in Montreal, QC, or Toronto, ON.

• Account Management:
  Handle the operational management and end-to-end processing of complex International Major Accounts (Revenue > $250M CAD) within Financial Lines.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with underwriters and Center of Excellence partners to develop and deliver tailored solutions for both new business and renewals.
• Client Engagement:
  Attend broker and client meetings as requested by the underwriting team.
• Mentorship:
  Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.

• Language
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent proficiency in both English and French (oral and written), in compliance with Bill 96 requirements.
• Experience:
  
  1 to 3 years of relevant commercial insurance experience and/or equivalent training.
• Client Servicing:
  Strong ability to anticipate both internal and external client needs and act proactively.
• Problem Solving:
  Proven ability to identify issues and align them with the appropriate, tailored solutions.
• Attention to Detail:
  Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and compliant documentation is maintained at all times.
