Join Swiss Re's Group Internal Audit team and gain broad exposure across the Property & Casualty (re) insurance value chain, including pricing, reserving, underwriting, risk management, governance, and strategic business initiatives.
This role offers an opportunity to leverage your actuarial expertise to provide credible, independent challenge on important business and risk topics, while expanding your experience beyond traditional actuarial responsibilities. You'll build relationships with senior leaders and develop a deep understanding of how the business operates while helping to strengthen Swiss Re's resilience and risk culture.
About the Role
Reporting Audit Director Risk Mgmt. & Actuarial, based in London, you will be a senior member of a global audit team and a key US-based resource for P&C actuarial topics. The Senior Auditor for P&C Actuarial and Risk role is well suited for an actuary who enjoys looking beyond technical modeling and wants broader exposure to business operations, risk management, governance, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, collaborating with and coaching colleagues across the global GIA team
About the Team
Group Internal Audit offers platform to develop a broad understanding of Swiss Re's business. Team members work closely with stakeholders across actuarial, underwriting, finance, risk, and business functions, providing valuable exposure to senior leadership and diverse career development opportunities across the organization.
About You
You bring deep P&C actuarial knowledge and the credibility to engage with and constructively challenge senior actuarial and business leaders. You are intellectually curious and interested in understanding issues beyond your immediate area of expertise. You can quickly get to the heart of complex topics, translate technical concepts into clear business insights, and assess actuarial matters within a broader risk, governance and business context.
