We are seeking an experienced underwriter with over five years in property facultative reinsurance. This role entails selecting and pricing facultative property business, improving our marketing efforts across Canada, and producing essential reports and budgets. Strong analytical skills and the ability to stay updated on industry trends are crucial for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Select and price facultative property business effectively
• Market to clients and brokers across Canada
• Produce quarterly and annual reports and budgets
• Demonstrate sound underwriting expertise in pricing structures
• Stay informed on property policy coverages and dynamics
Requirements:
• At least 5+ years of experience in property facultative reinsurance
• Proven relationship management skills within the Canadian P&C market
• Experience in underwriting property business
• Ability to analyze contract language effectively
• Strong communication skills in English;
French is a plus
