Job Description Summary
This position provides English to French and French to English translation, proofreading, revision and adaptation of marketing materials produced by the Marketing department for World Financial Group.
Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely translations from English to French and from French to English of marketing material, sales tools, market commentaries, PowerPoint presentations, press releases, legal documents and various correspondence.
- Develop written solutions that motivate the desired action among Quebec French-speaking target audience.
- Provide revisions of translations internally and externally as required.
- Proofread final copies, printer proofs and web postings.
- Help maintain and update the Linguistic Services terminology bank.
- University degree/college diploma in translation or equivalent work experience.
- Four years of translation experience, preferably in the investment and/or insurance industry.
- Excellent research skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Adaptability to manage multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- CTTIT (Certified Translator) certificate preferred.
- OTTIAQ, ATIO, or OCCI affiliation preferred.
Hybrid work environment.
Compensation- Salary range: $61,000 - $70,000 CAD annually (subject to qualifications, experience, geography, work location, operational needs).
