In your role as a Communications Translator, you will translate diverse media materials and corporate publications to ensure the Law Society’s messages are clear and accessible. The ideal candidate will have a background in legal translation and the ability to deliver high-quality output on time. You will be responsible for assessing translation priorities and negotiating timelines while maintaining linguistic integrity throughout your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver translations for reports, web content, and correspondence
• Monitor and negotiate timelines for translation requests
• Clarify tone and context with internal clients
• Maintain glossary and documentation consistency
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in source content
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Translation with 3 years of experience
• Strong grasp of French legal terminology
• Skilled in translation software and tools
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Legal translation experience preferred
