Senior French Language Specialist

Position: Senior French Language Specialist at OLG
Elevate your career with OLG as a Senior French Language Services Specialist, driving quality assurance in French materials for public consumption. Engage in translation, proofreading, and editorial excellence.

In this 12-month contract, you'll report to the Senior Manager of French Language Services. Your expertise will ensure consistency and accuracy across OLG's public-facing French content, enhancing user experience across multiple platforms. You'll review translations, edit creative materials, and manage a Translation Management System (TMS) allowing you to shine in your role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adapt and translate text while maintaining high editorial standards

• Proofread and approve a variety of digital and print creative materials

• Validate and test French content for accuracy

• Lead the rollout of TMS and manage backend processes

• Provide subject matter expertise regarding French Language Services Policy

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in French studies focusing on translation

• 3+ years' experience in translation and editing

• Proficient with TMS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe tools

• Fluency in both French and English

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
