Key Responsibilities:
• Source publicly accessible Japanese PDFs with multimodal elements
• Annotate meaningful regions and assign component types
• Record relationships between regions and components
• Transcribe text precisely in kanji, hiragana, and katakana
• Review colleague’s work for accuracy and integrity
Requirements:
• Native Japanese speaker with full command of script
• Professional experience in transcription or document work
• High attention to detail and character-level accuracy
• Systematic application of taxonomy across documents
• Comfortable with complex text layouts
