Join Fin Dev Canada's Legal Transactions team and leverage your legal expertise as a Senior Legal Counsel. This role supports sustainable growth in developing markets, advising on debt and equity transactions from origination to portfolio management. Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on debt and equity transactions throughout investment lifecycle
• Draft and negotiate complex financing and commercial documents
• Serve as trusted advisor to investment teams and stakeholders
• Manage relationships with external counsel effectively
• Contribute to policy development and legal risk management
Requirements:
• Member of Canadian Bar
• Minimum 7-10 years relevant legal experience
• Strong multitasking and transaction management skills
• Advanced understanding of legal principles and practices
• Bilingual in English and French preferred
