Geotab is seeking a Legal Counsel who will manage complex legal agreements and negotiations, and provide legal support across technology, privacy, intellectual property, government contracting, risk management and global strategic initiatives. The Legal Counsel, Corporate, is a member of the Geotab in-house legal team and is responsible for managing complex corporate and commercial transactional agreements and negotiations. Specific areas of focus include a wide range of (private and public) corporate transactions, both domestically and cross-border, including acquisitions, investments, divestitures, restructurings and joint ventures. In addition, the role of Legal Counsel, Corporate, will be expected to contribute to Geotab’s general corporate and commercial matters.

• Manage complex corporate and commercial agreements with a major focus on corporate transactions, both domestically and cross-border, including acquisitions, investments, divestitures, restructurings and joint ventures.
• Support the post-acquisition and integration of acquired entities or investments.
• Support legal aspects of risk management strategies with focus on corporate structuring.
• Support Geotab’s global strategic initiatives, including global expansion and new market entry.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and finance agreements, including partnering agreements, purchase agreements, confidentiality agreements, debt agreements, licensing agreements, and various vendor and supply agreements.
